Coupon Lingo!



If you are new to couponing here are some terms you will want to get familiar with before you dive head first into savings!

SS = Smart Source, coupons that come in the Sunday paper
RP = Red Plum, coupons that come in the ads in your mailbox
P&G = Proctor and Gamble
MFR = Manufacturer Coupon
SC = Store Coupon
Peelie = The little peelie coupons on items at the store
Blinkie = A coupon you get from the blinking dispenser at the Grocery
BOGO/B1G1 = Buy one get one free 
YMMV = Your mileage may vary, some markets have different prices, coupons and discounts
MIR = Mail in Rebate
FAR =  Free after Rebate
OOP = Out Of Pocket, what you actually spent
WFC = Weekly Flyer Coupon
ECB = CVS Extra Care Bucks
Wags = Walgreens
RR = Register Rewards
Mailer = a coupon you received in the mail
Catalina = The coupon that prints with your receipts
